Celebrating more than 15 years, SC helps associations solve their communications, public relations, and marketing challenges. Both on staff and as a consultant, SC’s president, Sheri Singer, has worked with more than 100 organizations. The firm possesses numerous awards including honors from PRSA, PR Week, the American Society of Association Executives Gold Circle Award, and the Art Directors Guild.

Meet Sheri Singer

President, Singer Communications

For more than 15 years, Sheri has helped more than 100 associations solve their communications, public relations, and marketing challenges. Sheri is a leader in the association community chairing committees and counsels, founding and managing 14 volunteers to provide a monthly webinar series to association executives, and serving as a judge for awards and conference submissions.

Before starting her firm, Sheri was a senior executive for top PR agencies (Ketchum PR) managing accounts for Fortune 500 firms, and associations. As the senior communications officer with associations, Sheri was responsible for managing all internal and external communications.

As chair (2024) and vice chair (2024) of the ASAE Research Foundation’s Development Committee, Sheri led volunteers to ASAE’s two most successful Giving Tuesday campaigns--increasing donors from 80 to 251, and revenue from $17K to $35K. Sheri also was chair of ASAE’s Healthcare Advisory Committee, a member of the Individual Awards Committee, and Communications Section Counsel.

In addition to her ASAE experience, Sheri is grief support volunteer with Haven of Northern Virginia. After attending a three-month training, she now provides one-on-one support to those who are grieving, has delivered presentations, and is a trained support group facilitator.

She is a founding member of the Independent Public Relations Alliance, a committee of the Public Relations Society of America’s National Capital Chapter. She served on the IPRA board for 10 years and as chair. She travels around the country speaking on communications topics and writes blogs and articles. She has appeared on podcasts as a communications expert.

She is the recipient of an ASAE Gold Circle Award, and has been honored with awards from the Art Directors Guild, and the Public Relations Society of America.
